About Us
Door County Horizons opened its doors for business in 1989. It was initially formed by Broker, Tad Gilster whose previous brokerage firm, The Gilster Company, dominated the Northern Door County market in the early and mid-eighties. In 1991, Door County Horizons joined forces with Coldwell Banker to become the exclusive Coldwell Banker franchise in Door County. Broker, Scott Bader (an agent with The Gilster Co. & Door County Horizons) purchased the company in 1995. In 1999, George & Doris Bodenner’s top Sturgeon Bay firm, Door Peninsula Realty, was acquired. In 2001, Kane Real Estate Company was merged into the company. Coldwell Banker Door County Horizons has complete coverage of the Door Peninsula.
